K9 Basic First Aid & CPR

Learn how to perform CPR on the K9. This course also involves basic first aid and life saving measures in the event a K9 is injured or becomes ill.This course is for civilians and non medically trained K9 handlers.

K9 Advanced CPR and First Aid

Learn how to perform CPR on the K9. This course also involves advanced first aid and life saving measures in the event a K9 is injured or becomes ill.This course is for medically trained individuals (EMT, AEMT, MEDIC, RNs, vet techs etc) This covers K9 CPR and First aid that follows the Indiana protocols for EMS individuals in the prehospital setting and working K9s.

K9 Trauma and Tactical Medicine -

This course covers the care of a working K9 in the event they become injured in the line of duty or the tactical setting. This is a more in depth response and treatment for K9s (GSWs, Stabbings, Drug exposure, Etc) This is geared more towards LEO, SWAT, EMS, and other prehospital and military setting folks.

Pre req: K9 Advanced CPR and First Aid 

Basic K9 Obedience

Basic obedience according to American Kennel Club regulations. S.T.A.R Puppy and/or Canine Good Citizen certified offered at the end of training.

Price depends on length of training required. All K9s are different. This can also be done as a single or a few classes just to get an insight on things to work with, with your K9 at home. You can then return to us to test for your S.T.A.R Puppy or Canine Good Citizen exam

Intro Lost Person Behavior: This course is an overview and introduction into the importance of learning lost behavior of individuals as per the book "Lost Person Behavior"

K9 Search & Rescue

Intro to K9 Search & Rescue: This course covers the basics of a SAR team, how we respond, what our goal is and how we work with other agencies on a search. It also covers the dos and donts of K9 SAR.

Intro to HRD/Cadaver: This course covers the basics on human remains detection, how to start your K9 on training for HRD and basic training methods and excercises 

Intro to Live Find Area Search: This course covers the basics to area search, excercises and drills and basic training methods to get started in area search

Intro to Water HRD: This course covers the introduction into working your K9 in HRD in water.

K9 nutrition and well being: This course covers the basics on K9 nutrition, feeding and overall well being for your K9 (working or pet). We weill talk about how to keep your K9 healthy, up to date on vaccinations, and what to look for if your K9 becomes ill. This course also discusses the importance of a nutrition plan/feeding schedule,  healthy diet vs unhealthy diet, and the importance of having your K9 chipped.

HRD/Cadaver Advanced: advanced level HRD techniques and tactics for you and your K9 partner

Ground Search & Rescue

Intro to Ground SAR: This course covers the dos' and donts' of ground SAR, what your basic SAR Pack should include, the importance of having a good pack, the basics of the ground team, how we respond, trainings, calling in additional resources and when to do so and other basic information on ground SAR

Basics to mantracking: This course covers the basics of foot prints and how to read them on scene, what to look for, how to measure foot prints, and what a single foot print can tell you. We will also talk about calling in additional resources and when to do so.

 

American Heart Association Courses

These courses are all American Heart Association courses and are ALL certified courses through the AHA. This class includes AHA certification. Blood Borne Pathogens course can be added to any CPR/First aid course. 

Blood Borne Pathogens

This is an American Heart Association certified course. Learn about pathogens, viruses, bacteria, and parasites; as well as prevention, practices on dealing with BBP, and universal precautions.

Basic Life Support - $85 (CPR for First Responders/medical professionals) 

ALL Heart Saver Courses $125 (infant, child, adult, and first aid) 

- K-12 Heart Saver (CPR for teachers and school staff)

Emergency Medical Responder (Public Safety)

EMR is a 60 hour course, usually runs 1- 2 days a week for 10 weeks. However this can be set up for a business or factory in a shorter time.

Emergency Response Team

This course can be adjusted to your organization. This can go as in depth or as basic as your would like to meet OSHA standards. This course is set up to either train and existing or build from scratch an Emergency Response Team for your organization
