Welcome to the Tact- K9 Youth Handlers Club!

3rd grade and up

We are thrilled to have you join our community of dog lovers and aspiring young handlers. Our mission is to foster a love for dogs while teaching valuable skills in handling, training, and caring for our furry friends. We believe that through engagement with dogs, our members will not only learn responsibility and compassion but also develop teamwork and leadership skills. You DO NOT have to have a K9 to be a part of this club!

What to Expect:

  • Training Sessions: Each month, we will hold training sessions where members can learn basic obedience, agility, and tricks with their dogs.
  • Workshops: We will organize workshops on various topics such as dog grooming, nutrition, and health care.
  • Community Service: We aim to give back to our community. Members will have opportunities to participate in events that promote animal welfare, awareness, safety, and education.
  • Fun Activities: Expect plenty of fun activities, including dog shows, competitions, and social events!

Getting Started:

To ensure a great experience for everyone, please remember to bring the following to our first meeting:

  • A copy of your vaccination records
  • A Pen or Pencil

We will not be bringing K9s until later on in the year. We will start with learning some basics of our K9s, teamwork, rules and regulations for the group and safety education.

Join Us:

Our first meeting will take place on May 4th at 3p, (Place TBD) This is a great opportunity to meet fellow club members, get to know the leaders, and learn more about our exciting plans for the year.

We are excited to embark on this journey with you and your dogs. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to reach out at 812-216-6500 or firemedic613@gmail.com. We also encourage you to visit our website at www.tact-k9-training-institute.com.

Thank you for being a part of the Tact-K9 Youth Handlers Club. We can’t wait to see you and your furry friends!

Warm regards,
